Feathered Waistband used by Samoans as accessories for a Taupou/Manaia (Daughter & Son of a High Chief)dance outfit. The waistband can also be used by anyone and those in a dance troupe.

Red strands are 10" long, about 2.7" apart. A 30" waist is 10 strands of feathers. The tip of the strands are done with white feathers.
